Thanks for taking the time to play with the design of my site!
Here are some things you should know:

You can use keystrokes to actively change the color of the background or banner in real time! However, because the dropshadow and rounded corners are imageless, they need to be rendered by PHP. When you find colors you're happy with, simply click the 'render' button to see what they will look like with the rounded corners and drop shadow.
If you were wondering why you can't change all the colors like that, it's because my menu is 100% css and uses pseudo classes which can't currently be changed dynamically with javascript. However, like the other colors, hitting the render button will change those as well.

Here are the key commands:
'q' and 'w' will change the currently selected element.
't' and 'g' will change the red aspect of the current color up and down respectively.
'y' and 'h' will change the green aspect of the current color up and down respectively.
'u' and 'j' will change the blue aspect of the current color up and down respectively.
Up Arrow and Down Arrow will change the increment amount by 1.
Left Arrow and Right Arrow will change the increment amount by 10.
If you don't want to use the 'q' and 'w' keys to traverse the two main colors, you can still change them with the keys when you click inside their form field.
When you click in other fields the 'focus' might be diverted and the keys wont change things until you click inside the background or banner field. This is to prevent you from accidentally changing the color of a field you're not currently working on.

All colors are in hexadecimal. The structure of a hex color is very simple. The first two numbers are the red aspect, the next two the green and the final two the blue. For example: #FF33A9 would have a red value of FF, a green value of 33 and a blue value of A9. If you're not familiar with hex colors you can click the 'pick' link after each color to be shown a palate.
I just want to say thanks one more time for giving me your input. I really value it!
